He has walked a total of over 100,000 km in the last 22 years. He has won 82 medals in this period. He was selected to represent India in International Meets' walking events in Japan (1992), Korea (1996), Africa (1998), Australia (2001), Spain (2005) but could not take part for want of Sponsorship! Whose performances are these? If you are wondering, they are of our Mr. N.R.Shankar Rao, nie Nadige Shankar as he is fondly referred to, who is all of 77 years only!
