Excavation Begins!

Excavation for that part of the Bhavan's Building which would house our Office and a Meeting Hall has been completed and the actual marking for the columns and foundation bed is to be taken up shortly.

On Saturday the 15th December, mainly the ladies from our Vanitha Vibhaga met at the Mahila Sadana premises on N.S.Road and exhibited their skills in preparing predominantly  wheat based sweets and savory items.

On Sunday the 9th December, the outdoor sports events were conducted at the Rotary West School premises, with active participation from about 25-30 Members.

Annual Indoor Sports

The event, organized this time entirely by our Mahila Vibhaga, attracted a good 25-30 participants - men, women and children as well! It was conducted at the Samathentho premises on Sunday, the 18th November, 2007. In the Rangoli Competition, there were 5 entries - some entries can be seen below. Then there were games like Carrom, Pagade, Team Games, Singing Competition, etc. in all of which participation was quite good. Adjudication of the singing was done by Smt..Leela Rao and Smt.Shailaja, two wellknown Gamaka Artistes. The prizes will be distributed to the winners on the Annual Day in January 2008. Congratulations to all winners.

We have been functioning since 1989 and are an offshoot of the more famous Badaganadu Sangha in Bangalore.
