| Construction begins |

The Bhavana Building work has made some progress as you can see from the attached photos. A watchman’s shed; a store room for materials like cement and a small site-office for the Balaga have come into existence at the western side of the site. A 15’x10’x8’sump for storing water initially for construction works and later for drinking purposes is ready at the north-eastern corner of the site. On the southern side, pits for the 13 columns and the associated bar-bending works have been completed and the casting work has also started. By the time the monsoon sets-in in June-July, we hope to have the cellar portion ready with a roof under which we can take shelter! Isn’t it heartening to find that at last some progress is visibly there? |
