News about the Badaganadu Bhawan site

As mentioned in our previous newsletters, we are getting ready to pay the 2nd installment and register the site in our Balaga’s name as soon as the present “shunya maasa” is over – viz. after the Sankranthi festival! We cannot surely rest with this and have to think of ways and means for raising funds for the 3rd installment. This is where your help and cooperation is most essential. Please help spread the word among your family and friends to help us with their generous donations. Donations can be made securely with a credit / debit card on our web site or can also be mailed to us. Events

As always, we have been busy with local activities aimed at nurturing a sense of community.

The annual Outdoor Competitions were held on the 7th January and participation by Members was quite good. Almost everyone who took part got a prize or two! The Indoor Competitions would be held on the 21st January 2007.

Our Annual Day is being celebrated on the 4th February 2007 at the Rotary West Hall. Chief Guest will be Sri K.V.Murthy, a well-known Industrialist, Rotarian, Philanthropist and President of prestigious Sangeetha  Sabhas like the Nadabrahma, JSS, and several other cultural organizations in Mysore. More details in our next Newsletter.

Once again, our Nadige Shankar has won some more laurels in Walking Competitions held in Mysore. Hearty congratulations, Shankar Rao!!
