Badaganadu Balaga Newsletter - July 2007
Well, July has again been a relatively quiet month with everyone being busy with preparations for the oncoming Annual General Body Meeting with election of new office bearers, auditing of the finances of the Balaga, preparation and printing of the Annual Report, etc.
Annual General Body Meeting
The AGBM has been fixed for the 5th August 2007 as usual at the Udupi Sri Krishna Mandira at 10 AM. An information booklet containing the following details has been mailed out to all members:
- Invitation to all Members to attend
- Submission of audited accounts for FY 2006-2007
- Calling all Members to vote in the Election of new office bearers
- Calling for applications for the award of Student Scholarships
- Announcing Ashadha Lakshmi Puja on the 10th August 2007 at SAMATHENTHO
- Seeking details of Sahasrachandradarshis to be honoured that day, and most importantly,
- Announcing the Bhoomi Puja of our BADAGANADU BHAVAN by our benefactor and local MP Sri Vijaya Shankar on the 26th August 2007 at 8.30 am and the Sathyanarayana Puja at 9.30 am
Even if you miss it by any chance, please treat this as our personal invitation and do participate actively.
An Appeal For Sponsorship
